Executive Vice President, Health Technology and Services Practice
Robert Berra has over 25 years of experience in directing and managing marketing communication strategies for health technology and health services companies.
At FKH, he leads the firm’s Health Technology and Services practice focusing on clients in the health information technology; medical device and diagnostics; payor and provider markets.
Previously, Bob was a founding partner of FischerHealth, a leading healthcare communication firm, and most recently served as the leader of the FischerHealth/Porter Novelli brand.
At FischerHealth, he led the creation of the industry’s first national health information technology practice in 1996 — launching HIT innovators such as Avicenna, iScribe, Skila, Intellidot, NIA (National Imaging Associates), MPower and iMetrikus, to name a few. Additionally, he’s provided strategic communication counsel and guided the marketing communication programs for market leaders including Humana, WellPoint, PacifiCare, McKesson, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Thoratec, Motorola and IDX Systems.
Prior to joining FischerHealth, Bob was a senior leader of Manning, Selvage & Lee’s West Coast healthcare practice. Other experience includes directing the corporate communication function of Health Net (one of the nation’s leading health plans) and serving as a senior member of Transamerica Life Companies’ communication team.
Bob received a bachelor’s degree in communication and journalism from the University of Northern Colorado.
