Dan Quinn has for 20+ years helped leading healthcare innovators meet their organizational goals through smart, focused, and highly tailored communications strategies. As head of FKH’s Health Sciences practice since 2007, Dan oversees a growing roster of clients in the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, academic medicine, health policy and patient advocacy sectors, that are forging new models in drug development and patient engagement.

Dan draws on deep experience throughout the healthcare space to help his clients navigate an ever-changing landscape. He joined Feinstein Kean Healthcare after nearly seven years at Genzyme Corporation, where he worked to protect and enhance the company’s global reputation through financial, product, employee, and crisis communications. He helped to steer communications strategy through the approval and launch of four new therapies, and worked closely with product marketing teams to position several existing brands for an increasingly competitive marketplace.

Prior to Genzyme, Dan led communications for the National Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Medicine, engaging with media, Congress, government agencies and advocacy interests to launch dozens of high-profile health policy reports each year. He has also worked to promote the work of the medical and nutrition faculty at Tufts University, and began his career as a journalist in Massachusetts.
